Content Editing

Using BitBox for content editing is simple and easy, follow the below instructions to integrate with your webpage...

  Find the element within your website you'd like to make editable

  Simply add the data attribute 'data-bitbox-content' to the element
• 3
  Upload the latest files to your box

When uploading a website containing an editable element with the attribute "data-bitbox-content" BitBox will automatically detect this and the content edit icon will become available on the applicable box within the dashboard

By clicking on the content edit icon you will be taken to the content edit page. Here you can see all your editable pages - clicking on any of these pages then displays all the editable elements within the page

Simply edit on screen and click save - after a few seconds the update/s will appear on your live webpage

NOTE - You are able to set a custom editable content reference by adding an "id" attribute to applicable form elements, eg. "id='IntroText'"
